On Sept. 9, 2016, Life Care Center of Columbia, South Carolina, served a special breakfast for local first responders.
Approximately 30 firefighters, police and EMTs attended throughout the morning. Associates served them shrimp and grits, bacon, sausage, potato and sausage casserole, eggs, fruit and pastries.
The local sheriff’s office shared on Facebook, “The warm welcome and delicious spread of food was amazing and truly enjoyed by Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott and County Sheriff’s Department send a huge thank you to the wonderful staff!”
Life Care Center of Columbia plans to make the First Responders Appreciation Breakfast an annual event.
